    Winter Duck Plug

    Item # A9262 Manuf.# WDP150
    Now Only! $6.29 Was $6.99

The Winter Duck Plug allows plumbing lines to be winterized without draining the pool. The patent-pending "duck-bill" valve allows a large flow of air and water to be blown from the return plumbing but does not allow water back into the lines.  Threaded end is 1.5" MPT.

      • Winterizing a pool becomes a one person operation.
      • Eliminates burping of lines.
      • No need to drain water below returns.
      • This double seal system provides a water tight seal.
      • Includes safety cap for ice protection.
      • Heavy duty rubber is resistant to anti-freeze and other chemicals.
      • Can blow out main drains and multiple return lines in matter of seconds.
      • Use with a winterizing skimmer door and save even more water.

The Duck Plug Wrench makes installation and removal of all of your Duck Winter Plugs fast and easy.

      • Precise fitted opening

      HOW TO USE:
      1. Install plugs into all lines. The double-seal system provides a water tight seal at the face plate or inside the fitting.
      2. Use a blower to clear all lines. The Winter Duck Plug provides adequate back pressure to allow all returns to be cleared at the same time without "burping."
      3. Once all returns have been bubbling for several minutes turn off the blower. Water will not enter the pipes from the pool.
      4. Add antifreeze to lines and turn on the blower again until you see some antifreeze blown into the pool.
      5. Install yellow "safety caps" for added piece of mind and protection against ice movement.
