Simple to use and works great
I have used other products but this was easier to use and more dosages per bottle. Will definitely buy again.

Swimming pool from you know where!
I had been fighting phosphates all summer long. I tried other products, but they didn't do what was needed. When I used SeaKlear, the phosphates I'd been fighting all summer were gone! If I had bought, then used this product first I would have saved myself at lot of time and a lot of money! Would recommend this product to anyone looking to rid their pool of phosphates the first time and swim with clear water the rest of the season!

Worked Very Good - Almost too Good
I opened my pool a little later than normal this year, so there was much more algea than normal. After trying normal normal pool opening chemicals abd clarifier which cleared the the water to pool of being just cloudy. I could not get it any clearer. I used the Flox, turned off the pool pop for 12 hours, and the next day there was the white blank on the bottom of the pool. I vacuumed up the white blanket (be sure to vacuum to waste out of your filter will clogg very quickly.) the water was ... read more about 95 clear. When I say it worked almost too good, i mean that for the next four days every morning there was white setiment at the bottom of the pool, which was kind of annoying. However, it did what it was supposed too and cleared the water perfectly.

      Really Great Product
I purchased this product after running my pump and filter and adding chemicals for days and still was not able to see the pool bottom because of cloudy water. I was getting ready to dump and refill the pool when I seen this product on the website.I read all the customer's reviews and most were 4 to 5 stars, so I thought, why not give this product A try first. I Used 16 ounces of this product as directed by the bottle label waited 12 hours "Behold" the water was clear, I could see the bottom. I ... read more vacumn the residue and trash from the pool bottom. I now have perfectly clear water. This product really worked. It saved me time, money and a lot of water. If you have cloudy water buy and use this product. I will always keep this product on hand.

      Finally Cleared Up My Pool
My pool clouded up terribly after my son shut-off the return valves while the pump ran for a day. I tried Pool Perfect, several clarrifiers, algecides, shock, metal removers, etc. - none of them did a single thing but waste alot of money and time. Within a hour of putting this in the pool it started clearing up the water. After an overnight with the pump turned off, the water was completely clear. Takes a little work, though. After the water clears you must vacumn the pool manually (no ... read more auto-cleaners) while the filter is in the WASTE position, thus wasting ALOT of water. But, when all else failed, this worked like a charm, just be patient!

      Great Product
I have used Super Clarifier along with several of InTheSwim products over the past several years and have always been very satisfied with how well they work, to make my work so much easier. Super Clarifier has my pool water sparking in no time at all.

      What is in this bottle?
Purchased because of product claim. I have too much trust for product claims made about pool chemicals. My pool does sparkle now and is very clear. Was it because of super clarifier? I do not know. Next week will be the third week for super clarifier weekly maintenance dosage to my pool. I think this bottle will last for the remainder of this pool season the all of the next year's pool season. I would give super clarifier a higher rating if I knew the content of super clarifier and that content ... read more was known to be a pool clarifier.

      Great Clarifier
Usually I can get my pool crystal clear after opening in the spring, but this year it showed all the correct chemical levels but the cloudiness was still there. I backwashed, I re-cleaned the sand filter, I used the clarifier from the pool shop where I usually go, I tried using more of it, etc., It helped a little, but not to my satisfaction. All they could suggest was to change out the sand in the filter. Well, I didn't want to go through all that, so I looked online and read reviews of all ... read more the clarifiers. Ultra Clear sounded like it might work. I have an above ground oval pool with a deep end and one of the reviewers said they used a whole bottle of Ultra Clear. I backwashed again to get all residue out and used 10 oz. Ultra Clear. In about two days my pool was crystal clear and sparkling like it should and you could see every speck of dirt on the bottom! It worked, thank goodness.

      Worked extremely well
I was a bit skeptical about the claims of this product at first...i had iron and other fine particulates in my pool water, and overnight it was crystal clear. Thank you for a great product at a reasonable price!

      I Love This Product!!!
Pool First Aid and has been a lifesaver for us this year. We opened our pool and it turned a horrible brown color-found out the iron was from an old pool ladder we used to have. We have tried over $200 in products since April '07 trying to clear up the pool. All the readings were perfect but it was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. Pool First Aid is phenominal the way it cleared our pool. Four days later, the water is crystal clear and the scum line around the liner has begun to disappear. ... read more We plan on using all their products to maintain, close and open our pool from now on.

      lifesaver for pool opening
I first used this product when we moved into our new house and had a pool for the first time. I had a terrible time getting the water to clear up and tried everything. I had been struggling with cloudy water for 2 weeks and saw this product and decided to try it. It cleared my pool overnight! I use it every opening now or anytime the pool is a bit cloudy from heavy use. It's a lifesaver!

      Great product!
We went on vacation and left the pool with the pump off. When we got back home, we had a bad algae problem. We got the algae cleared, and used clarifiers, but the water stayed cloudy. I ordered this product and it cleared up the cloudy water which made me really happy. I would greatly recommend this product to a friend, and in fact, already did to a coworker.

      Good Scum-Ball
These are comparable to the "sun absorbs" sold. I think they did a great job catching sun tan lotions and skin oils from my pool. 2 of them lasted me all summer. In fact, they still looked good when I replaced the first one 1/2 way through the summer!

      Takes out oils and dirt!
These work well in the skimmer to keep dirt off the liner at the water, or scum, line.

      Works as advertised
This product performs just as well as the expensive pool store product for far less money. You use generic drugs don't you, why not generic pool chemicals?

      Water Sparkles Like Diamonds !!!
I'm a new user for Sparkle Plus. My water always looks pretty good but I thought it could use a little pizzazz. We have a LOT of surrounding foliage and have to combat the mess constantly. So I tried one of the little cubes, figuring it probably wouldn't make much difference. But, boy was I wrong. In 24 hours after adding "the cube," my pool was sparkling like a diamond in the sun. I will update this review if it changes. But for now, my pool looks better than it ever has -- with a minimum of ... read more effort and at low cost too.

Awesome Product would recoomend to anyone
I found this product last year after 10 years of struggling with a cloudy pool. I will never be without it again. Just drop it in the filter baskets and within a few days the water really does "sparkle". I use 1/2 the amount of shock and algaecide as I used to so it pays for itself immediately. I would recommend this product to anyone with a pool.

      10 STARS! Greatest cube ever!
I used this little cube last summer..always had a problem with cloudy water..NO MORE! This cube works GREAT! Cleared my water up overnight AND I am spending ALOT less money on chemicals! All I have to do is weekly maintenance and keep my pool vacuumed! A REAL time saver! You will definitely want to drop this into like a knee high stocking or pantyhose of some kind..that will rid of all the problems everyone has mentioned with bugs and going through pipes and such.

In The Swim Knowledge Pool: Clarifiers

    In The Swim's Dr. Pool

    Pool Clarifiers Coagulate Small Particles

In The Swim pool water clarifiers work by causing fine debris particles to coagulate into larger particles which can then be removed from the pool water through the pool filter system. In The Swim's pool clarifiers are available in a ultra-concentrated formula so you can achieve water clarity while using half the dosage rates of other swimming pool clarifiers.

How Do Clarifiers Work? Pool clarifiers act as coagulants; positively charged polymers are attracted to negatively charged particles floating in the pool. Particles that are too small to be filtered are coagulated together into larger, more easily filtered clumps. After adding a pool clarifier, your filter does the work for you, clearing the water until such point that the filter needs cleaning.

Who Needs to Use Pool Clarifiers? Pool clarifiers can benefit any pool owner who wants a sparkling clear pool, with less visible particles floating in the water. Pools with large DE filters should not need to use clarifiers, but sand and cartridge filters can pass particles of visible size, making your pool look hazy, dull or cloudy. Clarifiers add clarity to the pool water, and are useful after spring opening, after algae battles, or as a filter aid to help undersized or poor performing pool filters.

When Should You Not Use Clarifiers?

    • - Immediately after shocking the pool, high chlorine can destroy clarifiers. Wait until chlorine level returns to normal.
    • - Within 3 days of a previous clarifier treatment; over-dosing with clarifier can have the opposite effect, acting as a dispersant!
    • - If you have a DE pool filter. Polymer clarifiers can clog DE filter grids. Use a chitin based clarifier instead, like Sea-Klear or our Ultra-Clear

Are Enzymes also Pool Clarifiers? Not exactly, pool enzymes are a natural product that can be used to remove oils and organic debris in the pool water. Enzymes are often blended with clarifiers for a multi-purpose treatment, in products such as Pool Perfect, Pool First Aid, or Free & Klear, for faster water clarity. Pool enzymes also clean your pool filter by removing oily deposits that make filtering less efficient.
