    Pool Clarifiers

      Life saver!!
I never saw the bottom of my pool last summer. After many visits from the pool company who installed the pool, they left me with the chore of backwashing the filter 7-8 times a day, which did nothing to clear the pool. Over the winter I made it a point to educate myself on pool maintenance. I opened the pool a month earlier and after initial clean up I used the Floc Out. One bottle did the trick and now I have my sparkling clean pool back! The pool guys indicated that I probably needed to dump ... read more the pool and refill it. . duh!! Thank you so much!

Worked Very Good - Almost too Good
I opened my pool a little later than normal this year, so there was much more algea than normal. After trying normal normal pool opening chemicals abd clarifier which cleared the the water to pool of being just cloudy. I could not get it any clearer. I used the Flox, turned off the pool pop for 12 hours, and the next day there was the white blank on the bottom of the pool. I vacuumed up the white blanket (be sure to vacuum to waste out of your filter will clogg very quickly.) the water was ... read more about 95 clear. When I say it worked almost too good, i mean that for the next four days every morning there was white setiment at the bottom of the pool, which was kind of annoying. However, it did what it was supposed too and cleared the water perfectly.

      GREAT PRODUCT
Had very cloudy water since I closed my pool last winter. Had tried a few different products at closing, and a few more when I opened the pool a few weeks ago. No luck. After reading the reviews here on Super Floc Clarifier I decided to try it. Well it works. Had to do it twice, but water is crystal clear. One bit of advice is that you have to be very careful when vacuuming because the small particles will start moving around and cloud the water again, and also send the return out to waste. You ... read more lose a bit of water, but it's worth it. Water fell to about the bottom level of the skimmer. took about 45 min. to replace the water.

      Excellent!
We had an algae bloom from trapped water in a damaged solar cover. We killed the algea, but the pool became foggy. We tried everything to get rid the fog. Spent lots of money in the process. Finally, I read some reviews on this product and for the price thought it was worth a try. It cleared the pool up overnight! Now, I keep a bottle on hand. At the hint of a fog I put a dose in and the water is crystal clear and smooth feeling. A wonderful product.

      SIMPLY AMAZING
I was having trouble with my pool water turning milky white.I spent about $110 at the local pool store using their products with no luck.As a last resort i took a chace with this product and i am very impressed. After just one day i could finally see the steps on my ladder and by day two i could see the floor of the pool. After a second dose the pool was CRYSTAL CLEAR....This is the best product ever.I will make sure i always have this on hand during the summer....

      I Love This Product!!!
Pool First Aid and has been a lifesaver for us this year. We opened our pool and it turned a horrible brown color-found out the iron was from an old pool ladder we used to have. We have tried over $200 in products since April '07 trying to clear up the pool. All the readings were perfect but it was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. Pool First Aid is phenominal the way it cleared our pool. Four days later, the water is crystal clear and the scum line around the liner has begun to disappear. ... read more We plan on using all their products to maintain, close and open our pool from now on.

      Really works
For the last two years I have had cloudy water in the pool. Still don't know why. I looked online and bought the clarifier. I was very pleased with the product and my pool water is crystal clear like its supposed to be.

      Great product
This product clears the water fast.. better than other products we've tried. Works good too for removing foreign substance in the water... we love it!

      Works as advertised
This product performs just as well as the expensive pool store product for far less money. You use generic drugs don't you, why not generic pool chemicals?

      Worked...
The product did make a difference to the water's clarity. Note that I keep a pretty clean pool, yet this product added an additional sparkle... I did not have a clouding problem so I cannot comment. Yet a noticeable improvement resulted.

      Works perfect
Our pool chemical testing was perfect every week, but our pool did not have the beautiful clear look. This product really worked. I was unsure that any product could make the pool water clear again and this one did.

      Best Clarifer Available
Have used other clarifiers that were more expensive and this is far superior. Just apply around pool surface once per week and your pool will sparkle. No diluting. Great product.

      Best clarifier ever
Hooray! I am in love with my pool! It's clear and sparkling water is an invite into refreshing coolness everyday of the summer. No longer do I woory about the condition of our pool water. It's like a dream come true.

      Spkarlking Clean Water
Great clarifier. Keeps my pool sparking clean all summer.

      Super is the correct adjective
Super Clarifier is such an outstanding product. I have to mark the calendar to assure I don't forget to put it in the pool. The water stays so clear and sparkling, it never "needs" to be clarified. This is really remarkable since the pool water is extremely high in TDS (total dissolved solids).

      Without question, this product works!
I put this product in my pump basket last night at 8pm, started up the pump with a new filter, and resigned myself not to look at my pool for 24 hours. OK, so I had to look this morning when I woke up at 545. The results were extraordinary! I had a solid green water color with a surface level ring around my vinyl liner after opening my pool, Scrubbed down the ring, added water, all levels were acceptable after shock and chlorine for a day, and added MiraClear to start the season. This product ... read more definitely lives up to its name. Its a miracle!

      Good product.
Seems to work as advertised. I did put this inside a knee high hose so I can take it out of the skimmer when I back wash. It does get slimmy so this works well for me.

      WOW!!!
We had a real problem with suspended matter that left our pool cloudy no matter what we tried. Miraclear was our last hope before draining. Dropped one in the pump basket and the water was visibly clearer the next day. After 2 days we could clearly see the bottom of the pool!! We didn't get 30 days of clarity from it, we got around 2 weeks instead, but WOW! did it improve the water clarity when nothing else would! I Highly recommend Miraclear!

All pools should have a scumball
They really do the job and keep the waterline free from scum. I am really happy I bought them.

I would recommed the balls to anyone that has a hot tub.

      Takes out oils and dirt!
These work well in the skimmer to keep dirt off the liner at the water, or scum, line.

      Incredibly Effective
I have been running my pool with a non-clorine product for the past 3 years and ALWAYS had problem algae. I never saw the bottom of my pool...until this year. This product is incredible! One cube in the skimmer lasts about a month and keeps the water crystal clear. I know when the cube is completely dissolved because my water starts to cloud up again. Insert a new cube and it is crystal clear again the next day. I'll never run my pool without one of these in the skimmer.

      best product ever used
I was fighting a cloudy pool since last season and tried everything to get water cleared up. read other reviews on this product and thought to give it a try. Cleared up the water in two days and has been sparkling ever since and dont use any algicide, this product is simply great and trouble free.

Cloudy water clear in one day!
My pool was cloudy at the end of last Summer. I could not get it cleared. It was clear for a few weeks when I opened it this year, but went cloudy fast. Chemicals all look good. After reading reviews on Sparkle Plus, I decided it was worth a try. I ordered it on Wednesday morning, received it on Thursday afternoon, and had crystal clear water on Friday evening! Totally amazed and satisfied!

In The Swim Knowledge Pool: Clarifiers

    In The Swim's Dr. Pool

    Pool Clarifiers Coagulate Small Particles

In The Swim pool water clarifiers work by causing fine debris particles to coagulate into larger particles which can then be removed from the pool water through the pool filter system. In The Swim's pool clarifiers are available in a ultra-concentrated formula so you can achieve water clarity while using half the dosage rates of other swimming pool clarifiers.

How Do Clarifiers Work? Pool clarifiers act as coagulants; positively charged polymers are attracted to negatively charged particles floating in the pool. Particles that are too small to be filtered are coagulated together into larger, more easily filtered clumps. After adding a pool clarifier, your filter does the work for you, clearing the water until such point that the filter needs cleaning.

Who Needs to Use Pool Clarifiers? Pool clarifiers can benefit any pool owner who wants a sparkling clear pool, with less visible particles floating in the water. Pools with large DE filters should not need to use clarifiers, but sand and cartridge filters can pass particles of visible size, making your pool look hazy, dull or cloudy. Clarifiers add clarity to the pool water, and are useful after spring opening, after algae battles, or as a filter aid to help undersized or poor performing pool filters.

When Should You Not Use Clarifiers?

    • - Immediately after shocking the pool, high chlorine can destroy clarifiers. Wait until chlorine level returns to normal.
    • - Within 3 days of a previous clarifier treatment; over-dosing with clarifier can have the opposite effect, acting as a dispersant!
    • - If you have a DE pool filter. Polymer clarifiers can clog DE filter grids. Use a chitin based clarifier instead, like Sea-Klear or our Ultra-Clear

Are Enzymes also Pool Clarifiers? Not exactly, pool enzymes are a natural product that can be used to remove oils and organic debris in the pool water. Enzymes are often blended with clarifiers for a multi-purpose treatment, in products such as Pool Perfect, Pool First Aid, or Free & Klear, for faster water clarity. Pool enzymes also clean your pool filter by removing oily deposits that make filtering less efficient.
