      Hard as Nails!
WHOAH! This stuff is amazing! We recommend doing every bit of prep work as outlined in the instructions and this stuff seems as though it will be a fix for a VERY VERY long time! Work in clothes and with gloves you don't care about, because it will all need to be gotten rid of after application if the epoxy gets on any of it. Easy to work with product, dries gray, and HARD!

      Well worth the money
This product is pricy but has proven to be a superior product in my in ground pool. You will be completely satisfied with the results if done correctly. The preparation before you apply this is the most important step so don't take short cuts. In the swim products has always proven to be high quality but still affordable, THANKS!

      Great Product but Be Prepared
First, product is great. Does what is says it's going to do and works well. I purchased a house with a moderate sized pool surronded by concrete. The concrete had not had anything done to it in 5 years, so I was basically starting from scratch. Unless you have the smallest of areas around your pool, here are some tips if you are thinking about tackling this project 1. Be Ready for some hard work. 2. Have your supplies ready. If like my you have concrete that has not been treated, it's going to ... read more take about 2 to 2 1/2 times the paint that the can recommends. 3. This is going to be a 3 day project. 4. 7 days prior to your start date, get some concrete (not regular) caulk and seal up any cracks and holes you have. It takes at least 7 days for the caulk to cure. 5. Day one, Follow prep directions, epically acid washing, and by acid washing, it means get on your hands knees with a brush and scrub. If you do not, you run the risk of the paint not sticking. Make sure you spray off the area good once you have finished scrubbing. 6. Day two, first coat. VITAL that you either lightly wet the area you are painting or at least cut the paint with water as is recommended on the can. 7. Day three, final coat. If you follow these steps, as well as the recommended prep and application on the web site and the paint can, it will look very nice.

      was a a little scared
I was a little scared to paint my 12 year old cement pool deck, I didn't want a thick painted look, but it was getting tired looking. I followed the directions to a "T" and I am very pleased and so is my wife. Its not a thick look, paint soaked in well with two coats. should have done this years ago, GRET product!

      Awesome Product
My patio off the pool area had a smooth finish and was very dangerous to anyone with wet feet. Also, over time, it had become stained and a little unsightly. Preparation of the surface was a little time consuming, but the finished product was well worth the effort. I chose the putty color since it appeared to be the darkest in the selection. The final color looks very similar to "fresh" concrete. It is more gray than brown, and definitely lighter than the selection on screen. I wished the ... read more manufactures would develop an additive to tint it to a dark brown color. However, the finish is beautiful, and so crisp and clean looking. Best of all, I can now water all my patio plants and not worry about slipping and falling. Texture is moderately rough, but is not harsh on bare feet. I had to "cut in" all around the patio railing with a brush; it worked fine, and I can see no difference in that compared to the rolled area. It dried to touch very quickly (an hour or so) which was really nice. You can only herd cats so long. I let it cure over 24 hours before moving furniture back. So far so good. Hope it holds up over time and stays as beautiful as it is today.

      Cool Deck works
I bought this treatment to do my pool deck a couple weeks ago and it is fairly simple to do and does a good job. A couple observations - 1) the Cool Deck comes a 2 part mix that is contained in 5 gallon buckets. You mix the liquid component with your acrylic paint (color of your choice) until it is uniform. Then you add the medium to the mix. I would strongly recommend buying a drill paint mixer attachment because mixing by hand is extremely tiring and hard to do. That was something I learned ... read more the hard way. 2) Applying the Cool Deck as recommended is difficult to do without wasting some of the product. Pouring out the mix in a "S" pattern was hard for me to do so I simply used a roller with extended handle to roll onto the pool deck. 2) Two coats is necessary to create a uniform look and feel to the deck. 3) Therefore, you may need more than you originally bargained or budgeted for. I may have applied it heavier than I needed to but I originally thought 5 gallons would finish my deck but I ended up using 8 to get it like I wanted. But the product is down and I am very pleased with it. And it indeed does keep the deck cooler as promised.

Cool deck is the only coating to use
I put this down 3 years ago and it looks great still. I would recommend it to anyone with a pool. I also put a stop of it in my garage to prevent slips when coming in from the rain. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

Great Product. Easy to apply. Works like a charm.
I applied this to my deck about three years ago. We had a problem with our concrete being too hot. Cool completely corrected this problem. It was easy to roll out and the concrete was immediately cool afterwards. Today, it still looks great. Glad to see available through intheswim.

Used as pool deck paint or patio paint, are durable exterior coatings, designed to bond tightly to concrete surfaces, while repelling water, UV sun and winter's worst weather. Tough latex pool deck paints are built for high traffic and high exposure to sun, rain, chemicals, salt and standing water. Affordable deck paints with pre-mixed non-skid coating cover up to 125 SF per gallon, and are available in 7 beautiful earth tones.

    Clear Pool Deck Sealer

Clear concrete sealer has a semi-gloss finish, giving any concrete pool deck a deeper, richer tone, with just a slight gloss. Sealers are recommended for saltwater pools and seaside pools to protect pool decks from salt corrosion. Sealing also preserves and protects travertine, flagstone, and slate pool decks, while locking minerals inside of the grout joints, to prevent leeching onto stone surfaces. In The Swim Clear Pool Deck Sealer can be applied to concrete pool decks, patios, raised rock walls, water features and more with high coverage of up to 400 SF per gallon.

    Cool! Pool Deck Coating

In The Swim carries Cool! concrete coating for any concrete pool deck. Cool! Pool Deck Coating applies a thick surface to your pool deck that reduces heat build-up by up to 38%, and provides a non-skid surface, even when wet. If you have a Kool Deck® (aka SunDek®), a travertine finished top-coat over a concrete deck, the finish needs to be resealed every few years with Cool Deck Paint. See also the Cool! Triple Crown Concrete Cleaner and SealBack Clear Acrylic Sealer for a complete pool deck rejuvenation kit.
