      Outstanding timesaver
I left it to other family members to shut down the pool last fall while I was out of the country. When I returned during winter, nothing had been done; it hadn't even been covered. After the snow and ice melted this spring, I found the darkest green pool I've ever seen. No matter how much I netted and vacuumed, I couldn't get enough leaves out. When this product arrived yesterday afternoon, I went right to work. In about an hour, even though I couldn't see the bottom, I had removed more leaves ... read more than I had during the entire previous weekend. I wish I had noticed it sooner in the catalog as it would have saved me many hours of back breaking work.

      I love this thing!
If you have an issue with leaves or other large debris getting into your pool, this thing is the ticket! I accidentally dropped the edge of my winter cover into the pool last year when removing the cover. This resulted in a large amount of leaves being dumped into the bottom of my pool. Ugh! After about 10 passes with my Pool Rover, and barely any leaves removed, I decided to give this a try. It's much quicker and easier than using a net and will pick up a suprising amount of large gunk from the ... read more bottom of your pool. The only downside? If you have fine silt or dirt in your pool, it just flows through the mesh bag and gets stirred around. But this is really made for the big stuff like leaves, sticks, berries, etc. This has become a part of my spring pool clean-up permanently. It's awesome!

      Great tool for leaves
Removes leafs and bugs from bottom of 18' pool in just a few minutes. Fine mesh bag captures debris from bottom of pool. Unit has wide base for quicker cleaning using a garden hose to create a venturi effect suction that moves debris from pool floor into mesh bag. I'm very satisfied with this tool it has made cleaning the leaves and bugs out of the bottom of my pool quick and easy.

      Air pillow
I purchased this air pillow to use under the pool cover on my inground pool. I find it helps keep the water that gets on the cover towards the edges of the pool where I can pump it off easier. The last one lasted 6 years. Hope to get at least that out of this one. Looks well made.

      greatest product ever
I purchased this product this year and after I installed it under the winter cover I wished that I would have ordered 2 of them and next year I will have 2 for our 15x30 pool it keeps the leaves off and that takes a lot of work out of opening the pool up next spring I can see that already so if you really want a great product this is it but if you have a large pool buy 2 or just ask the dealer because they are always glad to help.

      might have a problem here...
Closed pool mid-October (about a month ago) and they've already lost a great deal of air (4 bags total). I was extremely cautious when filling being aware of puncture points/items around, but that was a waste of time. If they lose any more air, I'm in trouble. 26'x32' pool, the four bags going directly down the center with 20" in between. Held in place with 5-50 cord. The only reason I give three stars is because of the supplier. Fast shipping, always a pleasure buying pool equipment. Definitely ... read more my new supplier.

      SO SIMPLE!!
We've been using the bungee plug for the past two years on our in ground pool - SO SIMPLE! It takes a few minutes before all the water comes out of the lines though. We used a heavy duty shop vac (could have been the problem with a previous reviewer).

      Better than I had hoped.
Closed my inground pool yesterday. They work great! Used a large shop vac. One plug was stuck shut. I removed the bungee from the body of the plug and reinstalled bungee. Worked great. A real time saver.

      Easy Enough
Just purchased these this year so I don't know if they work or not yet. The were very easy to install the only problem I see is that there is no holes in the top to allow you to blow out the lines this make it a little more difficult. But other than that I think they were okay.

Designed and worked perfect I would recommend to all pool owners.

      Implode due to vacuum pressure
Simple to use, just screw in. I have a large in ground pool and my lines create a natural vacuum when they're drained during winterizing. Found that these units do implode on themselves under that pressure, but not enough to fail. Work fine though despite this.

      Ultimate Double Water Tubes
I have bought these heavy duty ultimate double water tubes in the past to hold down the winter cover on my 40x20 in ground pool and they last for several seasons. Even with shipping, they are less expensive than the cheaply made water tubes they sell in a pool warehouse near where I live. Satisfied repeat customer who always takes advantage of 10% off sales.

      Great Customer Service!
I ordered a dozen of the 10' tubes for my 20' X 40' pool. I used to use sand bags and various cement block to hold downy winter cover. These take a little more to set up but once they are set up my cover is locked down tight. Of the 12 I ordered 2 of them leaked on one side within a couple days. I sent a quick email to In the swim with my order info and pictures of the faulty tubes and they immediately sent me two replacement tubes. I didn't even have to send them the faulty ones in order to get ... read more the replacements. That is awesome customer service. I will try to remember to update after the winter to see how these tubes hold up in the elements.

      Exactly what I wanted.
Internet and catalog have a wide array of items to purchase. Found what I needed, good price, and delivered quickly.

      Does the job
Not sure why the lid catches are not more secure... They need a bit more plastic in each catch to hold the lid properly. Often, the catching mechanism is so flimsy that it's difficult to know when the lid is actually locked in place.

      Awesome replacement for water tubes!
Bought these last year for pool closing after being tired of the tubes losing water all winter. waited to post this until winter went by us. We just opened pool yesterday, they all survived full of water with zero cracks. Drying now to be stacked and stored for next year. Love this alternative!

      Easy filling and nice looking
They work better than the pilows. Birds or dogs cant punture them. I do tie them with a string just to make sure the wind doesn't blow the cover off, even thow they snap on. Need to fill with water by cover as the arent strong enough to carry.

      Highly recommended wall bags
I purchased these bags after my pool cover kept coming off from wind. They really made a difference. We used plastic heavy twine to hang them, connecting to the existing grommets on pool cover. Cut twine about 12 to 18 inches for each side. I have a few hanging down and most going into the pool. You need to see where most wind comes from and place accordingly.

      Great Bags
I bought 12 of these to hold my tarp down on my 15 ft pool. We filled them easily but as stated they are alittle hard to close. I think a screw type cap would've been easier but atleast they haven't leaked. So far they are doing the job the cover hasn't blown off. We'll see when the real wind starts though. I would definitely recommend to other users.

a must for pools exposed to high winds
bought a few three years ago, more the next year... now I have them about every three feet on a 28 foot round pool that is exposed to the winds of the Midwest. Only three bags have failed over the three years and leaked the water out, which I thinks is very good considering they freeze solid and are also in frozen water of the pool. Cover the pool attach the bags loosely to the wire that holds the cover, and lay them on the cover.

      Works GREAT!!!
I have an above ground 'bladder' pool, size 12 x 24. I have used this seal for the past two years and have never had a problem with my winter cover blowing off, a problem we experienced all winter prior to using the wrap. We use the whole roll, and wrap about 12-18 inches high. Cover has stayed on perfectly until spring, when we open the pool up. It is not reusable, as stated, but cheap enough to buy it once each year.

      Strong
I bought this wrap on Sept 3 to help in closing my pool for winter. I live in North Carolina. We just went through the winds and rains of Florence for 2 and a half days and this held my pool cover in place and never let go. We were not in the main storm and live north of Charlotte but we had strong gusty winds and very heavy rain. I will most definitely use this product again.

I used this for our 24' above ground pool during the winter in the midwest. The idea is good and for a while, the cover seal stayed in place and kept the "cover sealed". With wind/rain/snow, though, the seal started to stretch, tear, and "flip" off of the sides of the pool. It was also virtually impossible to wrap this seal around the entire pool because we have a deck. The seal is the consistency of Saran Wrap and Saran Wrap probably would have worked as well-seriously. It is a good idea, but ... read more not very practical.
