    Suction Cleaners

      good basic pool cleaner
been buying kreepy krauly pool cleaners for about 25 years...owned about 4 of them...including this new ez vac.....needed a new one...saw this one on sale on ebay for 132.00...outstanding deal...problem was that i have a cement/gunite pool surface...and it said it was for aboveground pools only...and the contrete ones on ebay were 275.00 to 500.00 dollars....couldn't afford that...i.had to take a chance on this cheaper one at 132.00 plus free shipping.....and it works as well as my past ones...i ... read more look as these kreepy krauly devices as helpers...they do about 70 percent of the pool and i finish the rest...also my pool has a skimmer and a side suction hole for this device..don't know how it would work with a skimmer...it did come with different valve regulators...but not sure how they work...my pool man set up the controls for the side suction hole in my pool with the controls/valves by the pump and filter...so i can adjust the suction from high to low...over the years..i have noticed that these things are taking more and more suction to operate...when i first opened this pool 25 years ago...i barely turned on the suction and it would operate...but as i bought them in the future...it took more and more suction...this one takes all the way up to 3/4 of the valve control....but i like the kreepy to move quickly......because we have edison electric...and they are expensive...so i need this thing to get the job done quickly...or at least 60-70 percent of the cleaning...and i will do the rest with my pole/vacuum device which i have a hose for. when i get a chance......also this new ez vac kreepy krauly doesn't like large leaves...its the worst of all my past kraulys....so if you have a strong pump and suction and you don't have a lot of large leaves...and you understand that this device is good for cleaning the pool up to 70 percent...this is a perfect little device.....very happy with it....don't really care for its random circling around the pool...but since we have so much dirt and dust in my area...and its getting worst every year...this device comes in handy...really cleans up the fine dirt and particles on the bottom and sides of the pool...also you have to experiment with this krauly...if you use the weigh it comes with...it tends to stay on the bottom of the pool more...if you take the weigh off...it tends to be on the floors a little more...also the more suction the faster it goes and tends to hit the walls a little more...less suction it hits the bottom a little more and does a more better jobs cleaning...but take more time...and my electric bills are high enough...so i put my krauly on high suction...so it moves quicker and gets its 70 percent done quicker...this aboveground pool cleaner does work on a cement/gunite pool...my only question is the foot pad on this set up for aboveground vinyl pools which would make it softer and would wear out quicker...and will a gunite/cement foot pad work on this ez vac pool cleaner

      Product So-So
I have a 24ft by 72 in deep dished out above ground pool. Cleaner might work well on a flat bottom pool, but with 6 feet in the middle, cleaner had trouble getting up the sides and cleaning other portions of the pool Also got hung up on stairs, which i had to unscrew and remove. Overall..seems like a good product, just not right for a 72 inch deep pool. I returned it after 1 week.

      Great, Great, Great!!!
I have been using this automatic cleaner for about 15 years. I am on my second cleaner, and I have had it for 10 years. When I open my pool I just put it in and it does all the hard work for me. I would recommend this to anyone. If mine quits working I will just buy an other one. I wouldn't even consider buying a different brand. I love it!!! The Kreepy Krauly is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Beats using a manual vacuum cleaner!
I gave it a three star because it works great on my sisters pool but in my pool it goes slow. She has a chlorine? pool rectangle shape, mine is salt and a t-shape.

Don't hesitate to order from this company and the products are great.

Hayward Pool Vac - Skimmer connection
I've had this cleaner for about 4 years now, and I've replaced the "feet" twice, and the paddles on each side. It constantly gets stuck at the steps, which scratches various surfaces of the cleaner. My biggest complaint is that leaves get stuck in the "throat" , and constantly requires me to pull clumps of leaves out to get the machine moving again. My house is surrounded by tall mature trees, and due to leaf production, this equipment just doesn't do the job at my location. Probably fine where ... read more there are no large trees nearby.

      Love it
I love my penguin pool vaccuum. Just hook her up and she goes. Cleans the pool floor thoroughly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the instructions on how to hook her up and get her moving could have been clearer

      Awesome purchase
My mother in law bought this as a gift for us to care for our new pool. We had read some reviews on it before hand to see what we needed to do in order for it to work properly with the pool we have. Basically as long as you take care of it and dont allow the hose to coil it does a fantastic job. I can put her (diver darla) the kids had to name her. But i can put her in the pool in the morning and a few hours later there is nothing left in it. I was a bit weary of it as well just because our pool ... read more is not all the way even so i was afraid she would get stuck. As far as I remember shes only gotten stuck stuck once but the other times she has done just fine. I absolutely love it and i make sure that no one else (kids) mess with her so we can keep her in the best shape as possible because it saves me hours worth of work.

      very industrious critter
Our new Aqua Critter is replacing an aging and broken Polaris 65, and I must say that I'm glad we switched. The Bug (as we call it) is easier to set up, and did it's job with no trouble. Our pool floor has no wrinkles, but is a bit dimply, so I had some minor concern about the need for a "smooth" pool bottom. There was no difficulty, however. I love the way it cleans the fine silt - something the Polaris, as dependable as it was, never did. If we encounter too much heavy debris, we can always ... read more add the leaf canister. Removing it from the water, section by section, was easier as well.

      Does a good job-not a speedy process
We bought our Critter last year and have used it almost every week during swimming season. The Critter does a good job and is easy to assemble. Just put the hoses together, put the critter in the water and force the air out of it, hook it up to the skimmer and let it go. The bad part is that it is slow and it doesn't do the walls. The good part is that where it does go it does an excellent job. All in all it IS worth the money. It saves us time because we just hook it up and let it run. The ... read more Critter stops moving when it is time to backwash the filter. I would give it a B+ for a grade.

      a must have
This definelty is awesome time saver to clean pool. This is my 3rd one. First one lasted 5-6 years. Second one only lasted three. Needed new rubber feet and plastic wheel was lost; decided to buy new instead of wasting $ on replacement parts. I first up-graded to Shark; returned it and got this. Much better product.

      Very effective
Watching it work reminds me of a Dyson. No large debris gets past it and into the filter.

      Impressive
I've been using the cyclonic automatic cleaner with my automatic vacuum for a few weeks now. It really does keep the debris out of the filter basket.

      Great asset for my pool
Once I hooked it up I couldn't get over how well it worked. The only thing I can say is I wish I had bought it a long time ago.

      still fits

      Just what I needed!!!
Bought replacement pad for my 5 year old kreepy krauly and it works like brand new! Saved money by not having to buy a whole new keep krauly. So glad I was able to purchase just replacement parts!

      Great delivery time
Needed replacement parts quickly because we were preparing the pool to close. Got the parts in two days. Can't ask for anything better than that.

      Great Product for Aquabot Owners
I own an inground pool and use a Aquabot Pool Cleaner. I also was having problems with my Aquabot constantly getting hung on my main drain in the center of the pool. When I read the reviews on this product from other Aquabot owners, I quickly placed my order. I got it within 3 days after order, and it took me less than 10 minutes to put it together and install. Now, my Aquabot cruises over the main drain without any problems. This is a "must have" for all Aquabot owners.

My Krepy Krawly kept getting stuck on my main drain but after installing this product It has never, I mean never, gotten stuck even once. I wish I had bought one years before. It's worth every penny you pay. After I ordered, The "In The Swim" company delivered it very, very quickly. It's almost like they had a store next door to me.

      Essential for an Automatic Cleaner
I got an AquaVac Tiger Shark and didn't understand why it didn't get the whole pool clean overnight. I ran it during the day once and saw that it got caught on top of the main drain and just sat there. After I purchased and installed the Unicover, it hasn't gotten stuck again and now my pool is in great shape. Excellent purchase, and essential for an automatic cleaner.

      Great addition
I heard about this product from my son's neighbor and felt the price plus rebate was such a great deal that I should give it a try. I'd been thinking of getting an automatic cleaner for a couple of years, but the $1500 to $2000 figure given me by my local pool shop was unreasonable in my mind. I have been overwhelmed with the ability of this product to clean not only the floor, but the walls also in such a short period of time. I do recommend purchasing the skimmer basket attachment as it is ... read more absolutely necessary for catching the few leaves, pinestraw and other items that accumulate occasionally.

      An excellent product
I bought the Kreepy Krauly about a year ago figuring that possibly the product wouldn't be as good as advertised because of the price. Boy, was I wrong. This thing is fantastic. I have a large inground pool and several trees in close proximity to it, so I was constantly spending 2 or 3 hours on a Saturday morning cleaning my pool. Now I just put the Kreepy Krauly in the pool and forget it. It can do it's work while I'm at work, running errands or even overnight while I'm sleeping. There are ... read more virtually no parts to wear out and nothing else needed to keep my pool clean all summer long. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a pool. This thing is GREAT!!!!!!!!!

      Love updated model
I have used Creepy Crawlers for many, many years. I love this model because the suction hose goes through the skimmer suction rather than through the top of the skimmer that required the skimmer cover to be left off. I first ran my old model cleaner with very little results and then installed the new cleaner and it took off! I love it!

    Suction Cleaner Automatic Pool Vacuums

Shop from the most popular suction pool cleaners like the AquaNaut (The Pool Cleaner)Hayward Aqua CritterKreepy Krauly Sand Shark, and the Zodiac MX6 cleaner. Energy efficient suction pool cleaners use the power of your pool pump to vacuum debris and particles into your pool’s filter, and can be directed into specific patterns for customized cleaning.

    Benefits of Suction Pool Cleaners

     1. Lowest cost pool cleaners, starting at less than $100.
     2. Fewer moving parts and wearable parts, for less maintenance and repairs.
     3. No additional cost to operate, runs when your pool filter pump is running.
     4. Available Skim Vac Plates trap leaf debris in the skimmer basket.
     5. Available In-line Leaf Canisters handle large and heavy leaf debris.

How Suction Cleaners Work: Suction pool cleaners connect to your pool skimmer or dedicated vacuum line, and are powered by the suction of water from your pool pump. With models designed to clean in-ground and above ground pools, suction cleaners move about the pool to vacuum walls and floor, bringing the dirt and debris into the pump basket and pool filter for removal.

Suction Cleaner Installation: Suction cleaners assemble in minutes without tools. Simply join the 4' hose sections together to reach the furthest part of the pool. Connect one end of the hose to the cleaner head, and the other into your skimmer or vacuum line. Adjust pump suction valves if needed to pull more water from the cleaner, and start moving the cleaner. A 1 hp pump or greater is recommended to provide enough suction power.

If you have any questions about In The Swim's suction pool cleaners, please contact our pool experts via phone or email, for fast, professional service. Most of our suction cleaners are available with super-fast 1-day shipping and processing.
