    In-Ground Closing Accessories

      Simple and Easy to Use
This above-ground cover drain is easy to set up and use with minimal effort. It works really well at draining the water off my pool cover. It did have some kinks in the hose when I got it out of the box but simple needle nose pliers solved the problem. The only con to this product is that I have to lower it unto my pool cover with a rock on top of it because on its own it is too light to sit flat on the cover while it drains. The rock doesn't impede the draining so I am happy with the product.

      great investment
I absolutely think this is the best for my situation. I am bombarded with leaves all season long, not just in the fall. I use a leaf cover but that doesn't help the rain and water issue. This unique drain, sits on top of the leaves and doesn't get plugged with the leaves. It totally drained all the water and I was able to get the leaves off now that they are all down off the trees. I will probably keep using it until we have snow. In the spring once the ice is melted I will use it again until I ... read more open the pool. Love it and have told a lot of my friends about it.

      Not Bad for the Price
I've had one of these for at least six years. I made the mistake of leaving it outside this summer and the plastic broke where the tubing connects, so I ordered another one. The siphon pump is a frustration, but if you know how to get a siphon started, it can get almost every drop of water off the cover. Use it after closing but before freezing. In the spring, use it and with a few dry days the winter cover will only have a few leaves left before you remove it.

      close the pool
Comes with everything but read all instructions before actually closing. It takes time to let chemicals work themselves in and temp must be below a certain degree.

If you care about your pool - buy this!
As my pool has aged, opening it has been more difficult year after year. I live in the Midwest so we get very cold winters and lots of sun in the Spring. More algae appeared year after year and I just accepted it. Would take me 1-2 weeks to get the pool clear. Found this last year and used the kit. Absolutely amazing! When I closed it last year, I followed the instructions in the kit (very easy). I then added another bottle of winter algaecide in early March. When I opened the pool in April, the ... read more water was very clear. I had the pool ready to swim in 2 days.

      Wonderful Pool
This is the third year I have used your winterization kit and rather then opening my pool, like my friends with pools, to a green slime alge mess my pool was clear with minor debris on bottom. The kit did a wonderful job with minimum expense. Took hours rather then days to have a swimable pool!

      Goodbye hose!
Shoots water the perfect distance, lands softly as to not harm my lawn!

      Works great
Love it. No more messy hoses all over the place. Just put the sump on the cover and watch it work!! You can tell it is working when you see the water spout out.

A MUST HAVE for Fall clean up!
This is the best invention for Fall clean up I have ever used. We call it "The Witches hat" because we use it in the fall (Halloween) and it resembles a witch hat when it is in use. It works with water pressure from a garden hose (can use your house faucet or your pump for your pool cover, either work fine.) I have a 40 foot long pool and I get all the leaves out in minutes with this great tool. Your pool filter doesn't get overworked or cloged. You just empty the mesh bag into a wheelbarrow and ... read more then push it to your compost bin and"ta da" you're done. If you hate cleaning leaves out of your pool....PLEEEEEEEEASE....buy this and see how easy it is.

      Great product for the price
This product is fairly simple, you attach a garden hose to it and it sprays several jets of water from a plastic ring into a bag attached to it. The jets of water cause leaves and any other lightweight debris to go into the bag as well. It attaches to the end of a standard pole such as the one you would use with your vacuum. For the price it is a great product and gets leaves out of the pool in a hurry. The only downside is that the bag allows fine silt to escape so it will cloud you pool, but ... read more when you have a bunch of leaves in it, chances are it's cloudy already and getting the leaves out is more important that worrying about the brown spray from using the leaf gulper.

      InTheSwim Instructions Almost Always Lacking
Guys, you've GOT to get it together on your opening and closing instructions. The closing instructions shown on the website page above these comments tell us to add Pool Magic first, Phosphate Remover second, Shock third. Your printed instructions with the kit say to add Shock first, WAIT a half-hour, and then add Pool Magic and the Phosphate Remover. Your online directions tell us to lower the pool level BEFORE adding anything. Anyone who does will soon realize that the pump STILL needs to be ... read more running for all of the chemicals, so lowering the water would have been a big mistake. The product is great and I really enjoy purchasing from your company, but I can't understand why you can't be clearer in these situations.

      Good Products, Good Price
I have been using this kit for the past 7 years to close my in ground pool and it works quite well. My pool opening is easier thanks to the winter chemicals included with this kit.

      They Work Great!
I had bought some of these plugs when we first set up our 18' above ground pool and they worked great. Now, 8 years later they finally got weather cracked and needed replacement. You can't beat the price considering they kept water from leaking out during the winter for many years. The only change is that the wing nut is now plastic verse metal from 8 years ago. The new plastic wing nut worked great and should last as long as you keep it out of the sun during the summer.

      love my pool

      Nice pump
I used two covers this year, placing a safety cover over the winter cover. I placed the pump on top of the winter cover and it's working great.

      Works great!
Our in-ground pool came with our house when we bought it last year. After struggling with the sagging cover due to water weight this past Spring, we bought this pump this fall and it's worked great from Day 1 (and just in time for the heavy rains we had here in Michigan). It had good reviews and I understand why. We put a longer hose on it and it still pumps out the water without any issues. The orange cover around the base of the pump is good at catching leaves and debris as well. We plan ... read more on using it on our spa as well. Now I wonder why we waited so long to buy this! Well worth the money so far.

      Works better than I expected
I have used it twice so far with a 50' garden hose attached to it and the pressure coming out of it is impressive.

Works well and automatic shut off is good too!!
I gave a 4 only because I’m using with a above ground pool cover and the only problem is a flat level spot is needed to work properly and if using any tyoe of weighted item that tends to cause the pump to flip on its side and could cause the pump to run continuously which then could burn up the pump as stated in instructions!! If there’s a way to make a weighted type platform that hooks on the side of pool that is level and flat I wouldn’t have to check on and remove pump from cover each ... read more time... that would be great!!! Here you go all inventors out there!!!!

      Great so far!
We had bought one 2 years ago and that thing was indestructible, but finally crapped out. This model is different but do like where the "suction" feature is and how the hose fits to it. Hooked it up and quickly pumped out water - super fast, love the auto shut off feature. Too many times last year forgot I had the old one on. I'd recommend it!

      Great product
We had the one that doesn't turn off automatically for about 7 or 8 years outside all winter, last year it finally gave up. Hope this last just as long
