      Polaris
Overall I like the polaris. This is the first year for our 20x40 inground pool. We had quite a lot of leaves in it when we opened the pool in the spring and the polaris was great for getting them out. Just plug it in and let it go to work!

      Great Product
The pool cleaner allows more time to enjoy the pool instead of breaking my back cleaning it. Simple connection to the skimmer. I couldn't live withou it.

      Not bad for the money
I have a 18 X 32 IG Grecian style pool. I had a polaris 360 for about 3 years until it broke down. A friend recommended the 165 to me so I thought I would give it a try since its cheaper and see how it works. I have used it this whole season and it has done fairly well. The assembly was easy to do in less than 30 minutes. The only tool you need is a knife to cut the hose. The hose comes coiled up and tries to stay that way in the pool. So lay it strait on concrete in the hot sun for a day to ... read more help get the coil out of it. The 165 cleans fairly well. Not quite as efficient as the 360. It seems to want to get in the deep end and not get back out so you have to go outside and pull the cleaner to the area of the pool you want it to clean and hope it stays there. The bag gets about anything and the tail has jets that stir up silt to help the pool stay clean. Like all polaris cleaners of this type there is a little filter where the hose attaches to the wall that needs to be cleaned out once a week or so. If your cleaner looks sluggish that filter probably needs cleaning, which is quick and easy. Overall not as fast at cleaning as the 360, but cheaper and hopefully more reliable. My friend had his 165 for many years. If you dont mind babysitting it a little bit then you will probably be happy with the 165. Also with a flat bottom round type pool it would probably not need any babysitting at all.

      Great value! Super company support!
Terrific cleaner, easy to use. It climbs the walls and does a great job on the sides and floor of my gunite pool. Hayward tech support the best around. Even out of warranty, they are absolutely the best company to do business with. I have used this cleaner for 4+ years. Once, under warranty, overnighted it to them, they completely rebuilt the unit, and paid for return shipping, all done within 5 days -- no charge. Out of warranty, they did the same - no charge! Works flawlessly. Occasionally, if ... read more big debris (rocks, tile grout flaking off), get caught inside, it's fairly easy to get this out. Need to check the "flippers", which occasionally either need to be replaced or re-attached. Otherwise, no complaints. I use it in conjunction with a leaf/debris catcher (separate item). The best thing about it is, there are no electrical cords to mess with, you can leave the unit and the hose floating in the pool when not in use....just disengage it from the skimmer and let it float!

      Very Good Service
We have always received good service wehn we order from In the Swim. The delivery is fast and the tracking helps us calculate the arrival time. This little cleaner works excellent. We have had one for almost five years and we gave this one to our son for his pool. It requires little or no maintanance and doss a sparkling job. Don't hesitate to order from this company and the products are great.

      So far so good!
I bought this for my husband's birthday. He has only used it once so far, but other than a connection error (due to user error) that he quickly figured out and remedied, this has been exactly what he needed. It was fairly easy for him to assemble and very easy to use. So much better than hand vaccinia like he was doing!

      Great features
Had the 9400 before from previous home owners. Attempted a Hayward tigershark which was terrible before jumping back to the 9550. Worth every penny!

We love Kreep y. This is our 3rd one in 38 years and we love the way it cleans our pool. Very easy to set up and get parts for.

      Better without the regulator
Love the way this cleans. Works extremely well and hits every part of the pool. The only problem we have experienced was due to the regulator. It would collect too much debris inside which reduced suction and would cause the device to float. It is a simple fix of removing the regulator and sealing the hose to the adapter with tape. Have had no issues since. We have a vinyl liner.

      Great addition
I heard about this product from my son's neighbor and felt the price plus rebate was such a great deal that I should give it a try. I'd been thinking of getting an automatic cleaner for a couple of years, but the $1500 to $2000 figure given me by my local pool shop was unreasonable in my mind. I have been overwhelmed with the ability of this product to clean not only the floor, but the walls also in such a short period of time. I do recommend purchasing the skimmer basket attachment as it is ... read more absolutely necessary for catching the few leaves, pinestraw and other items that accumulate occasionally.

      Very happy
I've had it for a few weeks now. (Replacement for my worn-out Baracuda MX8, that I was tired of "fixing"!) So far, I'm very happy with this cleaner. Glad I got the 4-wheeler. It does climb the walls of my diving pool, and even somewhat climbs the steps, at times.

      Worked perfect
I just bought the Aquanaut and was so surprised that it worked so well. It was fast and thorough. Now I have a pool to be proud of. Crystal clear in six hours.

      Awesome
I love this thing so much if I could I would marry it. Why have a pool if your going to have to work cleaning on it every time you get in it . I spent a lot of money on the bug cleaners etc trying to find a cleaner that actually works. Well I took a chance on this one and it's great. I'm using it on an above ground pool with a vinyl liner and it covers every inch. It doesn't climb the walls but who cares I don't have dirt on the walls anyway. Spend the extra little bit and get this one and your ... read more pool cleaning worries are gone.

      This cleaner really works
After having used 2 different vacuum (skimmer side) devices, I thought I'd give this a try. I had looked at robots, but didn't want to lay out $1,000 +/-. This little bugger really works. It is fast, efficient, and leaves the skimmers undisturbed to do their work. One suggestion: if you have a larger pool with more than one return, you will need to reduce the eyeball diameter at the return not attached to the cleaner. If you don't, too much flow is diverted away from the cleaner and it doesn't ... read more work as well. Smaller diameter eyeballs are available at any pool supply store(I switched from 1/2" to 1/4")

      Back to what works
I used an old Polaris for ten years then when it quit I bought a "Tiger Shark" for more money than the Polaris cost. The Shark has to be babysat continually so you may as well do the work yourself since you can't leave the pool area anyway. I went back to using a Polaris because I like the water to be roiled when the filter is on and I can hook up the Polaris and walk away without worry and it will clean the pool and not get stuck on any return lines Etc. The expensive "Tiger Shark" is in the ... read more storage room gathering dust.

      Great Purchase
This products works great! We've had several storms this season with high winds that has knocked tons of leaves and small limbs in our pool. We drop the Polaris in the pool and within a few hours the bottom is free from all debris. I love the fact that we recieved this product within a few days of ordering from In The Swim. And, the fact that Polaris shipped replacement hose nuts and we received them within 2 days. Great service from both In The Swim and Polairs.

      Great Purchase!!
I have an inground liner pool and an Aquabot T2 robotic cleaner. The Aquabot was continually getting stuck on the main drain. I read a previous review of an Aquabot user that said the unicover was a must. I now agree 100%!!!! The unicover totally solved my Aquabot hang up issue. The unicover doesn't fit tightly, but I found out that it really doesn't matter. It stays in place great. It only took me about 5 minutes to put the cover together and get it in place. The only issue that I had was ... read more finding the page of instructions that was in English. Great product for an Aquabot user!!!!

      Must Have for Polaris
This product is great and allowing me to enjoy the pool even more. Prior to purchasing the product, I would come home and see the Polaris sweeper stuck on the drain and the bottom of the pool still litered with debris. Now, I don't have to monitor the Polaris and when I come home from work, I can jump into the pool....no pausing to manually sweep the pool anymore.

      Essential for an Automatic Cleaner
I got an AquaVac Tiger Shark and didn't understand why it didn't get the whole pool clean overnight. I ran it during the day once and saw that it got caught on top of the main drain and just sat there. After I purchased and installed the Unicover, it hasn't gotten stuck again and now my pool is in great shape. Excellent purchase, and essential for an automatic cleaner.
